TierHawk watches the pricing pages you choose and emails you when something changes. This page explains what we collect, why, where it lives, and who else touches it.
What we collect
- Your email address — to sign you in (we use one-time links, not passwords) and to send you alerts.
- What you ask us to monitor — the competitor names and pricing page URLs you add, and the plan you are on.
- What we read from those pages — the extracted pricing (plan names, prices, limits), a short text excerpt kept so you can verify our reading, and technical details of each fetch such as the time, the HTTP status, and whether we detected a change.
- Billing information — handled by Creem, our payment provider and merchant of record. We receive your subscription status and identifiers from them. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic server logs — for security and debugging.
How we use it
To run the service you signed up for: fetch the pages you asked us to watch, compare versions over time, email you when something changes (or when a check fails), and operate your account.
Who processes it
We keep this list short and we do not sell your data. We also do not run advertising trackers.
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Resend — sending email (sign-in links and change alerts).
- Volcengine Ark (ByteDance) — the AI model that extracts pricing and summarises changes. The text we read from a monitored page is sent there for processing. This provider operates from the People’s Republic of China.
Where it is stored
- Database and authentication: Supabase, hosted on AWS in ap-northeast-2 (Seoul).
- Application servers: Tencent Cloud, Seoul.
- Backups: encrypted database dumps kept on our own servers, retained for up to 14 days.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account exists. What the app shows you depends on your plan — the free plan shows the last 7 days of change history, while the underlying records are kept so that your history is intact if you upgrade. When you ask us to delete your workspace, we delete its data.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is processed. Email us and we will act on it. You can stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time.
